These classes will help your dog learn essential obedience skills needed for any lifestyle and situation. They are geared for dogs and puppies over 6 months of age, and move at a faster pace than puppy classes with more work and less play time. There are two separate classes held for large breed (over 20 pounds) and small breed (up to 20 pounds) dogs respectively. This helps to avoid issues like aggression and anxiety between dogs of different sizes.
Training Prerequisite: None
Lessons Covered:
Note: A short play time for the dogs may be allowed at the end of each class if the instructor determines the group of dogs is suitable for such an experience.
Next Steps: Dogs that complete this class can either repeat it to solidify the lessons learned, or progress to more specialized classes.
Once registered and attending a class - please follow us on the Gas City Dog Club Facebook page to be aware of any class announcements!
